Lakehouse Living

I’m honoured to have my photographs selected by CapitalHOME Magazine in Victoria to illustrate their feature article “Lakehouse Living” which highlights a fantastic renovation of a Langford home by MacReno.

The Langford Lake house renovation won five CARE Awards in the fall.

The new home is both rural and romantic, with expansive views across the lake.

In the kitchen, two colour schemes are stirred up in a slab of white and grey granite that tops the island.

Bathroom vanities are made of alder, stained a deep walnut, with marble countertops and Toto Nexus faucets. The shower is wrapped in white Carrara Marble. Maple hardwood flooring in the rec room was salvaged from an old gym at St. Michaels University School.

Light floods the living room, thanks to skylights. The Valor gas fireplace is surrounded in K2 ledgerstone in autumn gold.

The entrance to the home has an expansive driveway and garage that are guarded by massive Douglas fir trees.
