My dad, who passed away two months ago today, always had a fondness for the stars. When I was a kid he showed me how to find the Andromeda Galaxy in binoculars, which sparked my early interest in astronomy. I took this photo of the galaxy this evening under the clear, dark skies of Long Beach. This one’s for you dad!
While I work full-time as a professional photographer in Nanaimo, BC I still seem to find time in my work schedule to indulge my personal photographic passions – such as photographing the stars.
